The Spring 2024 Theme: The Fool
The fool is the first tarot card in the Major Arcana. It features a young person with a bundle over their shoulder, taking the first step on a journey. There is a sense of trust about this person, an almost childlike wonder at the world.

Please note that creative writing does not have to address these things in a literal sense, but should embody the spirit of the card. How you interrupt and apply that is up to you!
What we like
Writing we like:
I like writing that's honest, and generally dislike writing that is complex to the point of obscurity. If, after reading your work, my main feeling is confusion then I will probably pass. I do like creative imagery and am certainly open to speculative work. As for poetry, I love free verse, but do appreciate more formal structure as well. I wish I saw more work with a feel of the classical, either in form or feel.

Visual art we like: I'm looking for work that makes us feel. Work that makes one think, or work that makes us loose our minds entirely. Or work that makes us want to curl up with a cup of tea and gaze. Anything you want to show me, I want to see.
